The Millennial Dirtbag: Even dirtbags can clean up their act!
Real stories about life, recovery, healing, and the messy work of becoming better. If you’re ready to begin a journey of your own, I’ll guide the way with reflective questions and journal prompts at the end of each post — designed to encourage soul-searching, introspection, and applying the lessons to your own life.
Stories, Reflections, & Questions for the Journey
About the Author
Hey, I’m Pam & I’m the person, the voice, behind The Millennial Dirtbag. I’m just trying to figure out this thing called life one messy, imperfect step at a time.
By day, I’m a machine operator in a factory. By night (and whenever inspiration strikes), I write about life, recovery, and the small victories and mistakes that come with trying to become a better version of yourself.
I started this blog because I realized that recovery, growth, and healing aren’t neat stories you can sum up in a few paragraphs. They’re ongoing, messy, sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, and always deeply personal. I wanted a space to document my journey honestly, in real time, and hopefully help someone out there feel a little less alone in theirs.
Here, you’ll find stories from my life, reflections on the lessons I’m learning, and gentle prompts I call “Questions for the Journey”— little nudges to help you pause, think, and reflect on your own experiences.
I don’t have all the answers. I probably never will. But I do know that honesty, humor, and a willingness to look at the truth of your own life can make the mess a little easier to navigate. That’s what this blog is about.
So, welcome. Stick around, grab a coffee, and join me in figuring it out as we go.
This site is still under construction, so please bear with me, as it’s my first time creating a website and I am still learning!
